Do you think education is important? Are you interested in the Arts? Do you live, work or have children in school in the Kent/Covington area?
The Kent Community Foundation is looking for board members and/or volunteers to help us with our mission to enhance education and the cultural arts in the Kent and Covington communities. Whatever time you can spare and skills you bring to the table will be very appreciated by us (the Board of Directors) and by the children and residents who benefit from our help.
Especially needed are people with skills in the following areas:
- Enthusiasm for the community
- Legal knowledge
- Web page designing, hosting and/or maintaining
- Publicity – media relations and community relations
- Awards programs
- Grant writing
- Fund raising
- Financial (accounting skills)
